Who we are?

Ola and Marcin. Sister and brother. I am 21, Marcin is 33 years old. When he was my age and holidays were coming up, he used to show me a piece of paper with for example names of 15 countries scribbled on it, saying: Oleńka, these are the countries I am going to visit this holiday. And then he was disappearing. As a ten year old child the truth for me then, regarding where my brother was going, didn't matter. I just wanted him to come back some day and to bring me some nice gift from a trip. With time it changed. A few years later I already knew that I wanted to do the same as him. Then we went for our first trip together – for 2 weeks – by bike along the Polish East border. That was something. Since then we have went together to the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Since then 5 years have passed and we have decided to set off together again. But this time for longer - for half a year. And a little bit farther. To Latin America.

 

Who is Marcin?

Marcin graduated from Warsaw University with a degree In Management and Marketing. During his studies he worked as a tour guide for groups of foreigners visiting Poland . After graduation he left to Cracow , where he worked as a city guide. He made a lot of 2-3 month long journeys around the world.

Who is Ola?

I am in my third year at Warsaw University studying political science. I am going to finish this year and then take a break for a year. My journeys? They were little rather than big.
